I think it was in our staff meeting a week ago that Mike made the comment that this past Sunday (the 5th) was going to rock the house (those may be my words), but indeed it was a phenomenal time of worship and praise. The choir and orchestra started it all with the song “Praise” with Dave Brubaker leading with the solo part. The orchestra performed a number called “The Power of the Cross,” and then the

orchestra and choir sang the song “Dirt and Blood.” Finally, Pam Davis closed our

service with the song “Heartbroken Hallelujah”. I met a couple there for the first time before the second service began and told them they had picked a great Sunday for their first time of worship at New Life. Afterward, they agreed. Thanks to
everyone who had a part in making Sunday so special. You can watch the entire service from our website. If you weren’t here, I believe it would be worth your time.
Sunday was “New Member Sunday” and we had a total of eight people place their membership with New Life. Pictured are Martha Davis, Deborah and Doug Fishel, Lynn Parsons, Jill and Verne Schlosser, and Jan and Roger Hoven. Welcome!

5 DAYS AND COUNTING!!
It is a busy week around here as we put the finishing touches on this Sunday’s 20th Anniversary celebration of the beginning of New Life Christian Church. I hope you are planning to be with us.
