"It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas"

The song “It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas” is very appropriate here at New Life. Our building has been decorated and indeed looks a lot like Christmas. Thanks to everyone who helped make that all happen. In our Sunday worship, Mike and the choir have been sharing a couple of the songs from the Christmas program coming up on December 7 and 8. The program is called “All Because He Came”, and it will be outstanding as it always is. Jennifer tells me that as of this morning (Tuesday) 143 tickets are remaining.

This past Sunday’s worship was great. Lisa Donohue sang the song, “Never Be”, Jim Misciagno sang “Joseph’s Song”, and the choir and orchestra presented “All Because He Came” from the Christmas concert. Not only does it look a lot like Christmas around here, it also sounds a lot like Christmas. It was a joy to participate. It reminded me that the concert is only 18 days away.

Permit me one more Christmas reminder. As we have always done, we will celebrate Christmas Eve with a service of praise and worship at 6:30 pm. I say every year that if you have family visiting, bring them! What a great way for a family to spend Christmas Eve together. Mike always puts together a terrific program. You will not be disappointed.
