1. Praying for Protection (Psalm 91)

Psalm 91 is often called the "Soldier’s Psalm." It’s a powerful declaration of God’s role as a shield. When praying for our military and our borders, you can personalize these verses:

• The Prayer of Shelter: Ask that those serving in harm's way would "dwell in the shelter of the Most High" and find rest in His shadow.

  
  

• The Prayer of Safety: Specifically cite verse 11: "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Pray for a physical and spiritual hedge around our service members.

2. Praying for Leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

• Pray for All Leaders: The text specifies "kings and all who are in high positions." This includes the President, Congress, local governors, and judges—regardless of political affiliation.
