Hands Helping Hands

Our Hands Helping Hands ministry is dedicated to bringing comfort and dignity to those facing Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke, or chronic illness. Our volunteers lovingly sew and assemble specialized, handcrafted items—such as fidget blankets and clothing protectors—designed to soothe and support those in need. Every piece we create is a tangible gift of love, crafted to be a blessing to our community and a reminder of God's care.

"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." - 1 John 3:18

How to Get Involved

  • Join Our Sewing Circle: We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Center. Whether you are a master tailor or just learning to sew, there is a place for you!

  • Assemble & Prep: Not a fan of sewing? We always need help cutting fabric, assembling fidget attachments, and preparing items for delivery.

  • Donate Materials: We welcome donations of soft fabrics, ribbons, large buttons, and other tactile items used for our fidget blankets.

  • Request an Item: If you know someone navigating a chronic illness who could benefit from a handcrafted gift, please reach out so we can bless them.
